Desiring to become a recording artist, the Yokohama-native vocalist, KiMi has wanted to record covers of some of her favorite artists such as Sade and Basia to name a few. With Dré Matsumoto at the helm of her desire, she has released two singles “Paradise” and “Smooth Operator” with more on the way. Her debut Paradise series brings forth her R&B/Soul sounds as she “Sings Like a Breeze".

Dré Matsumoto’s debut album, is an uplifting collection with Matsumoto sounding funkier than ever on all instruments. Patchouli includes the singles “Urban Tower,” “Patchouli,” “Minato Mirai 21,” and “Osaka Dotonbori.” Matsumoto’s jazz funk fusion comes through loud and clear on these original compositions.
